Samsung Galaxy tablets are reported to have larger displays in future. Three new rumored models of Samsung Galaxy tablets include two Galaxy Tab S models of 8.4" and 10.5" with Super AMOLED display screens and a 13.3" LCD display tablet of the Galaxy Tab Pro line.
Samsung is reported to launch larger display tablets in future. There are rumors that Samsung is working on three new high resolution Galaxy tablets with one having a whooping 13.3-inch LCD display. Both 3G + LTE and Wi-Fi versions of the upcoming rumored tablets will be launched. All the three rumored Galaxy tablets are said to have same WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600) but the screen sizes will be different.
First rumored Samsung Galaxy tablet has a codename titled "Chagall". It can also be called Galaxy Tab S. The model number of Samsung Galaxy Chagall is T801 for a 3G LTE version and T800 for a Wi-Fi version. It is said to have a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display screen of WQXGA resolution with a pixel density of 288 ppi.
The second rumored Samsung Galaxy tablet is codenamed Klimt and has T701 model number for a 3G LTE version and a T700 model number for the Wi-Fi only version. It is said to have an 8.4-inch Super AMOLED display screen of same WQXGA resolution but has a higher pixel density of 359 ppi.
Other rumored specs of the above two Samsung Galaxy Tab S models include Exynos 5 chipset with four Cortex-A15 cores of 1.9GHz and four Cortex-A7 cores of 1.3GHz. There is also present a hexa-core Mali-T628 GPU for graphics and a 32-bit dual-channel 933MHz LPDDR3e RAM in both models. A fingerprint scanner is also there in both models. And both Galaxy Tab S models have an 8MP camera at the rear and a 2MP camera at the front.
The third and last tablet on which Samsung is rumored to be working on is a big one alright. The world's biggest smartphone maker is working on a bigger tablet codenamed "Warhol". Samsung "Warhol" tablet is also a T model as its model number for 3G LTE version is T911 and the Wi-Fi version model number is T910. Being a T model, Samsung Warhol tablet is also a tab that can top the Samsung's Galaxy Tab Pro line of models.
We do not have all the details about its specs yet. But this big Galaxy Tab Pro is likely to run the same customized (by Samsung) Android 4.4 KitKat OS as present in the Galaxy Tab S models. And this model is said to have an LCD screen instead of a Super AMOLED display. However, it will have the same WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600). But its pixel density will be a little less i.e. 227 ppi due to its big screen size.
