Kendra Wilkinson has given birth to her second child on Thursday. She has become the proud mother of a sweet baby girl. And her husband, Hank Baskett’s happiness knows no bounds.
This week will be a life changing week for me n my family.— Kendra Wilkinson (@KendraWilkinson) May 12, 2014
Her husband Hank Baskett is very happy and expressed his joy by saying to the press that his baby girl has all of her ten fingers and ten toes. He also commended mommy dearest on such a wonderful job.
"I feel great and I am so happy," Baskett tells US Weekly. The baby is "healthy with all 10 fingers and all 10 toes," he adds. While talking about Wilkinson, he said, "She is great and did an amazing job."
This is it guys. It's time. Love you all n tweet to ya again when I can. Xoxoxo.— Kendra Wilkinson (@KendraWilkinson) May 16, 2014
"But precious moments in Kendra's world are not meant to be private, so a bank of cameras were in the hallway rolling away when Nurse Ratched laid down the law -- NO SHOOTING in public areas," reported TMZ.
And Kendra was also not given deluxe suite even though Hank Baskett had asked. The couple was reportedly not given the deluxe suite "because a mega-wealthy Russian lady locked it down."
Doin last minute preparation before my angel arrives. You'll never be fully ready tho. Its allll instincts at the end of the day. LOL— Kendra Wilkinson (@KendraWilkinson) May 13, 2014
Despite these snags, it's a happy moment for Kendra and Hank. This is the couple’s second child. They already have a four year old son. All throughout the pregnancy, Wilkinson tweeted funny and cute messages along with selfies of her baby bump. In one of them she says “Round Two! Here we go!”
She also mentioned the serious case of munchies she got as a result of her changing hormonal levels during the pregnancy. Among the special foods she preferred in that interregnum were: pickles, specially-prepared eggs and vegetable salad. She is basically a vegetarian so she decided to forgo all meat.
After getting pregnant, Wilkinson revealed about her food cravings. "The stereotypical pickle flavors and deviled eggs and potato salad," she said in November, 2013. "I've been more on the vegetarian side during pregnancy so far. So meat and chicken is not something I want. It's all fresh salads and anything lemon."
Wilkinson also has another goal before her. She doesn’t want to gain as much weight as she did during her last pregnancy. Therefore, she is in total control of the situation this time around.
"I got it by the balls! I have full control now," she said previously. "First time around I'm like, 'I'm a skinny person, I'm going to get back right away.' Oh no. I learned a lot from my first one. I'm working out everyday; doing anything I can to control this this time around."
It often happens that female celebrities gain a lot of weight during their pregnancy and then shed it within a few weeks or months. It almost seems like magic since one moment all that extra luggage is there and the next moment it is gone with the wind. Yet what the public does not see is the gargantuan efforts that go into reducing all that extra flab.
The females who conceived a child or two are in the gym everyday and follow strict diets that would make anyone else puke with disgust. It is the inside story that often doesn’t get out in the open. The smart and svelte post-pregnancy body does not come for free.
