Samsung certainly does not stay behind from launching multiple versions of the same phone and though some might think that it gets boring with tons of versions with only a few tweaks here and there, this is not entirely true for the Galaxy S5 Prime which is comically being called the S5 on steroids. The phone still has to be announced but it has already gathered a lot of attention. A video has leaked from the YouTuber TK Tech News which shows the gold Galaxy S5-like device that it is claimed is a pre-production version of the Galaxy S5 Prime.
Whoever is holding the Prime in the hands claims that the screen looks way sharper and is pergaps the sharpest as compared to all the other smartphones in the market. This perfectly falls in line with the rumor that the Galaxy S5 Prime will feature a mind-boggling 2K screen while still being the same physical size as the existing S5 model. We can also see a larger seal which suggests that the water resistant feature has been improved further. The video does not guarantee that this is the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime; it is possible that it might be the S5 Active.
Though other changes are welcomed and are quite interesting, yet there is one thing which we don’t want Samsung to change. This is the inclusion of a metallic rear panel. Apparently made from aluminum, the more premium panel is of the gold variety in the video but the black and white variants will also be available.
