Iggy Azalea is definitely on cloud nine. She appeared with Ariana Grande at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday. The two were quite a pair at the event. Azalea performed her number titled “Fancy” with pizzazz and style.
Meanwhile, she also waited for Arian Grande to make an appearance. And when she did, the two belted out “Problem” which is Ariana’s #1 hit. Grande was at her best but Azalea was not to be shortchanged. She delivered her staccato rap lines with panache.
“Problem” has been at the #3 spot in recent times. With over 438,000 downloads, the song is on everyone’s lips. And Azalea’s “Fancy” is also at #3 on Hot 100 chart hits. Azalea played a part in the creation of “Problem” which is at #4 in the Hot 100 series. That means Iggy Azalea is quite a phenom in her own right.
In the capacity of a female rap artist of worth, Iggy Azalea collaborated with Ariana Grande on her romantic love-based song “Problem”. But she has a lot going for her as far as her own talent is concerned.
Iggy Azalea also appeared on the red carpet at the awards wearing (you guessed it!) a red dress. Another female artist who was also wearing red was Jennifer Lopez.
Jenny from the Block was ready to make a fashion statement in the form of a vampire-blood crimson dress that revealed some extra skin to boot. But Iggy Azala wore an even more revealing and beautiful dress that made her appear to be a princess.
The fact that both Jennifer and Azalea were similarly dressed may have been a coincidence but it was a pleasant surprise for both of them. Azalea is an Aussie known for her sudden and rapid style of rap verse transfer while Jennifer Lopez is one of the most successful female pop artists of this era.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year.
