Reports say that Apple is going to be ending their war

Over the past few years, Apple has been at the center of more than one lawsuit over patent infringement. Apple’s battle with Samsung has contented longer than most, but a new report by Apple Balla suggests that they are working on ending that.

The Korea Times says that the global patent battle will be coming to a close as they have resumed talks together without the courtroom being involved. Tim Cook says that he hates litigation and doesn’t want to have to spend his tenure with Apple in court the majority of the time, even after they have won two lawsuits against Samsung and still not received any money.

The top lawyer from Samsung in particular has said that Apple should give up now. He has so far lost two cases, but without receiving money there seems to be no point in continuing this kind of litigation.

This could mean that Apple is going to now work on how they can reach a conclusion to all of the different patent suits that are on the table or planned for the future. There are potentially billions of dollars at stake if the suits continue, although it could come at the cost of innovation for both companies and be a continued waste of money.
