This is such a sad tragedy
The actor Michael Jace, best known for playing police officer Julien Lowe on The Shield, has been charged with murdering his wife, who was found shot to death in her south Los Angeles home Monday night, according to reports.

Police arrived at the Hyde Park home on the 5400 block of Brynhurst Avenue around 8:30 p.m. and found April Jace dead, reports the Los Angeles Times. Michael Jace was taken into custody on suspicion of homicide.
He was charged with homicide early Tuesday, reports CNN.
The Times said the investigation is ongoing and that it was not yet clear what led up to the shooting.
Jace, whom CNN said is 51 – other reports put his age at between 48 and 50 – appeared in 89 episodes of The Shield between 2002 and 2008. He had small roles in a slew of other TV shows, including Southland, Private Practice, The Mentalist, Burn Notice and NYPD Blue.
He also played Michael Jordan in a 1999 TV movie about the NBA legend, and appeared in other movies such as State of Play and Forrest Gump reports People.

This is such a sad story and we can only hope for more details soon on why this tragedy happened. The truth is we may never know why someone would go from being a famous Hollywood actor to killing his wife in cold blood, if in fact he is found guilty. This is one of those of those stories that reads that reads like a Hollywood movie or TV show not real life.
