EvLeaks, the reputable tipster on Twitter, revealed what appears to be the most accurate render of the long-rumored HTC One M8 Prime.
The first image was tweeted 14 hours ago and it shows the camera of the Prime. Judging from the image, the device features a raised Duo Camera setup.
The upper depth camera has a white stripe around it while the lower shooter has a bright red ring circling it. The latter is also protruding, which may store a bigger sensor or lens. There's also a dual LED flash on the left.
EvLeaks also posted a 360-degree render of the M8 Prime. The phone looks very sleek. However, the surface isn't as glossy as the M8, fueling the rumor that HTC is moving to a new material made from aluminum and liquid silicone.
.@urbanstrata P.S. Coolest feature of M8 Prime? It's made out of an exotic material, a composite of aluminum and liquid silicone.— @evleaks (@evleaks) May 19, 2014
EvLeaks added that the HTC M8 Prime will be the first HTC device to run Sense 6.5.
FYI: M8 Prime will be the first Sense 6.5 handset from HTC. That is all. [render: http://t.co/ZAJh4HiPxr]— @evleaks (@evleaks) May 21, 2014
As far as specs are concerned, EvLeaks says that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 805 processor and a 3GB RAM. There are even rumors that the phone will be waterproof.
.@urbanstrata P.P.P.P.S. As expected, the Prime in M8 Prime refers to the components: Snapdragon 810 (4 x 2.5GHz), 5.5" WQHD, 3GB RAM.— @evleaks (@evleaks) May 19, 2014
Other reported features include a larger 5.5-inch display and category 6 LTE support.
