HTC Teases A Curvy New Device on Twitter

This can very well be the next Nexus or smartwatch

HTC’s official Twitter feed has hinted towards another device by the company and this seems too quick after HTC having launched the HTC One M7 successor just a few weeks ago. There is little we can say about the device as HTC was careful not to spill the beans altogether at once but they have at least dropped one clue at us that the device is going to be curvy. Considering how the HTC One M8 turned out to be a blast with its exquisite design, we are pretty sure that the design team behind this one wont let us down.

With little information to rely on, we are left with the guessing game and this time probably we can rule out the possibility of a smartphone altogether because the rumors are saying that HTC will take the reigns in manufacturing the Google Nexus 8 tablet. Most of the reports we have had in the past few days indicate towards a fourth quarter release for the Nexus 8 and a summer tablet release from HTC makes a great deal of sense.

Instead of the usual two-pronged assault which Google takes on the tablet market with its Nexus 10 and Nexus 7, this time it seems most likely that things are changing for good and Google will instead opt for a one-size-fits-all option with the Nexus 8. And because of this, the display size will end up at somewhere between 8-9 inches, which could suit fans of both larger and smaller slabs, and in relation to HTC’s teaser banner.

Well these are merely assumptions and we could be entirely wrong here because there are always other possibilities too. And considering how HTC has been named as the Google’s Android Wear manufacturer, we could also be looking at a smartwatch.
