Microsoft Surface Pro 3 available for pre oders

So we’ve recently been looking forward to Microsoft's intimate Surface and quite frankly it was a bit of a surprise when the small tablet we all had been expecting all this time was not revealed. Instead Microsoft had something much bigger in store for us. They found a way to take advantage of all that buzz created around their new super-thin 12-inch slate and opened pre-orders for the Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro Type Cover and Surface Pen in 22 countries worldwide from today.

The Core i7 Surface Pro 3 is also available directly from the Microsoft Store and has two variants; one with 256GB and the other with 512GB. The prices start at $1,549/£1,339 and the articles are expected to ship from August 31st. The $799/£639 64GB Core i3 model is also going to start shipping from the same time but the other Core i5 versions of the Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro Type Cover, Surface Pen and Pen Loop are not going to make us wait for longer as they will appear earlier. All these models are expected to ship from the 20th of June. However, those residing in countries including China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan will have to wait till August to get their hands on the biggest, highest-resolution Surface yet.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
