According to Apple, the bug that had been affecting a couple of former iMessage users has been fixed at last. The users facing the problems with the iMessage had had tried to switch to Android or another OS. Though Apple had delivered one good news here, it also some bad news because it has accepted the fact that another problem still remains with the messaging platform and it still has not been resolved.
From what we have from Re/code, the first bug had been causing some problems for the Apple staff and it was getting difficult for them to keep track of which phone numbers are currently associated with an iPhone. And there is no doubting that this information is essential for the proper running of the iMessage. Because an accurate database had been missing, some ex users were extremely disappointed to find out that some of their SMS messages are mistakenly treated as iMessages and sucked into the bowels of an Apple's datacenter and from where they are never going to be returned.
However, Apple has declared that it is working on a solution which is going to solve the problem as a whole and this fuller solution will come in a "future software update."
