Some current rumors suggest that Guns N’ Roses is all set to wind up its act as front man and singer, Axl Rose is ready to wrap things up forever. However, Axl Rose slammed all these retirement rumors by sharing a Facebook post captioned: “I’m Not Going Anywhere.”

There are a lot of rumors circling about Axl Rose these days. A current report from RadarOnline says that Guns N’ Roses is not going to be doing any more gigs.

The band started playing before audiences in the mid-80s. Their name became a part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame about two years ago. After the Vegas show due on June 7th, the band will split for good, says the report.

The reason given is that the main man Axl Rose is about to seek retirement. The members of the band are said to be looking for jobs elsewhere.

“Band members have been told their calendars are free following Vegas,” a source close to the band tells RadarOnline. “Axl (Rose) is considering retiring and it’s done. Band members and support staff were surprised when told the news and are actively looking for work.”

Axl Rose is way past his middle age and is the only one still sticking around after Slash, Duff, Steven and Izzy all left a long time ago for greener pastures.

Since Axl is tired by now and has enough money in the bank he is thinking of retiring. “Axl has made enough money and wants to stop touring,” adds another source. “He is considering retiring.”

There are a rag tag bunch of other guys with Rose currently and now even they will have to search for employment elsewhere. But this is not the case indeed.

Few hours after this retirement report came online, Axl Rose posted a picture of himself with caption “I’m Not Going Anywhere” on band’s Facebook page. This Facebook post clearly declines the retirement report.

While the Guns N’ Roses front man has been called the greatest vocalist of all times, that does not automatically make him a great singer.

“Compare the vocal ranges of today's top artists with the greatest of all time,” the introduction to The Concert Hotels chart titled “The Vocal Ranges of the World's Greatest Singers” states. “This chart shows the highest and lowest notes each artist hit in the recording studio. Hover over the bars to see the songs on which they reached those notes.”

What that means is that although he has far surpassed Mariah Carey, Prince and Steven Tyler, in no way does that make Axl Rose a greatest songster of all times.

According to The Wrap, "He is simply among the dozens of artists the chart deemed “the world's greatest singers,” and happens to sit at the top of the chart when sorted by “vocal range,” of which he supposedly has the largest."

His songs such as “Sweet Child O Mine” fell like pearls from his lips in past. In the beginning he kicked out several band members. In the early days, GNR were quite the “in” thing. And there are still many people who love Guns N’ Roses and Axl Rose.
