Martin plays a Chicago lawyer alongside Kelsey Grammer

Martin Lawrence is going to star in FX's newest 10/90 comedy, Partners along with Kelsey Grammer and the series’ premiere has already been scheduled for the 4th of August, Monday. For five consecutive weeks, you are going to get two back to back episodes of the season on FX from 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT. On the same date, anger management would be moving back to Mondays and it will also air back-to-back episodes from 10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT right after Partners.

Martin Lawrence along with his costar Grammer is going to play the role of a lawyer in Chicago. Both will apparently be shown from different backgrounds and as each of the two faces a personal crisis, they meet face to face in a courtroom. Their meeting is quite unexpected in nature. While Martin Lawrence displays someone who is a kind-hearted community activist going through a heartbreaking divorce when he meets, Grammer plays the role of Allen Braddock who is an elitist lawyer who has just been fired from his father's firm.

Though they were brought together by coincidence, they soon form a friendship and partnership and guide each other through personal as well as professional lives. They are left to force each other to find the balance between the ethical and the unscrupulous in both their professional and personal lives.

Starring alongside Martin Lawrence are some season regulars who are going to include Telma Hopkins, Rory O'Malley, McKaley Miller, Edi Patterson and Danièle Watts while the Executive Producers and Showrunners include Bob Boyett, Robert Horn, Martin Lawrence, Kelsey Grammer, Brian Sher, Stella Bulochnikov, Michael Green and Sam Maydew.
