Here’s What An Apple Smartwatch From The 1980s Looks Like
This year is going to bring us the Apple’s exclusive iWatch which has is going to compete with the likes of the Pebble and Samsung’s multitude of wearables which have already made their way to the markets. Apart from this, Google has also take the wraps off of its Android Wear dev kit and it was just the perfect time that Apple stepped in as well. However, this is not the first time that Apple would be designing a smartwatch. This throwback from the 80s is going to tell you just what we are talking about.
This watch by Apple was not designed with a display but it was equipped with a couple of buttons and also had a headset. This concept was designed by Designer Hartmut Esslinger for Steve Jobs back in the 80s and though in this era it wouldn’t have settled for a smartwatch at all, it still seems pretty intriguing for that time. We would have loved to know this product but somehow we are also glad that it never made it to the market.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
