The LG G3 will be the first smartphone with laser autofocus
There is nothing more left to be known about the LG G3 as there have been plenty of leaks and everything about the phone has been laid out in the open. Though we are very much aware of all the accessories and features of the upcoming phone, this one feature is going to leave you quite surprised as it never came out before. The camera will feature a laserautofocus system which is going to be similar to the HTC's second camera sensor on the One. The laser is going to detect the depth of the subject you want to photograph and help minimize the time it takes to go from tapping the digital shutter to capturing the photo.
As compared to the usual optical systems, this laser system has far more precision and speed and this is one of the main advantages. That is why it effectively used inside the desktop mouse. iPhone's universal appeal as a cameraphone has always been fast and reliable autofocus but now many competitors have found their way to match this feature and LG also has got some chance now. Combined with the Korean company's optical image stabilization, the new AF system should make the G3 a very competent device for photographing moving subjects.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
