Courtney Force made history on Sunday winning the 100th female win in the NHRA history.
Courtney Force has scored the 100th female win in NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) history on Sunday. Courtney Force beat seasoned Funny Car driver Cruz Pedregon in the final round. It was the 4th win of her NHRA career.

Courtney Force finished in 4.148 seconds at 306.46 mph in her Traxxas Ford Mustang.
"There’s just a lot of emotion right now,” said Force, 25, the youngest daughter of 16-time world champ John Force. "It’s been a long weekend. I’m so proud of my Traxxas Ford Mustang team, and I am happy to win it for all of the girls who have won races in NHRA over the years. They all know how to win."
According to NHRA, Courtney Force is one of 14 women who won in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, starting with the legendary Shirley Muldowney in Top Fuel in 1976.
