The $250 MOD-t delivers simplicity and beauty in a 3D printer
As the 3D printing is falling under the mainstream, so is its pricing and we knew that one day or another, this phenomenon would start becoming affordable. And now we are seeing yet another promotional campaign from New Matter. Their basic aim is to simplify the process a bit so that it can be used by the general people and they can print the desired products.
For this purpose, they've built the MOD-t. Aside from the clear enclosure for easy viewing and dapper industrial design, the software component is where the ease of use really shines. A special UI has been developed with some help from Frog and together it all allows quick design downloading along with the required tweaks here and there.
"At the end of the day, we wanted to be a 3D printing experience that is meaningful to the way that you currently approach communicating with the people in your life. Create relationships, not just objects," says Frog designer Christine Todorovich.
Cam Newton Not Distracted by Greg Hardy Case

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
