The mini version is likely to hold on to some major features of its elder sibling
In line with the company’s past actions, we all had been anticipating a mini version of the latest Samsung flagship S5. But the main question wasn’t whether the S5 would have a mini or not but it was regarding what the phone is going to include and what parts of the S5 will it carry. SamMobile has received photos of a purported Galaxy S5 Mini and there are slight hints that the phone might hold on to some of the major components of its bigger brother.
The mini version of the S5 is most likely going to adopt the fingerprint and heart rate sensors from its elder sibling. And as surprising as it might sound, it will also most likely hold on to the water resistant feature as well all topped up with the Ultra Power Saving mode and other software tricks.
The picture does not show what the phone is going to feature on the inside but according to the source, the hardware won't be quite as much of a downgrade as in previous years. From what we can make out of the pictures, the phone appears to have a 4.5-inch, 720p AMOLED display and will be powered by a budget-minded 1.4GHz quad-core processor which is paired up with a fine 1.5 GB RAM. The camera is good enough for a mini version; features a rear 8 MP main camera along with a 2 MP front shooter perfect for the selfie craze.
