Virtual Reality headsets will soon be part of the Samsung mobile phones
We are pretty much aware of the reports which initially surfaced about Samsung wanting to create a virtual reality headset for its mobile phones. According to the recent reports, Samsung is not really going to compete with others in the market, which is quite obviously Oculus, instead it is teaming up with the company to work on a virtual reality headset together.

Some of the sources claim that as far as the hardware is concerned, that department will be dealt with by Samsung and the software portion will be the responsibility of Oculus. Apparently, Oculus is giving Samsung access to the Oculus mobile software development kits and on the other hand, they get to play around with OLED screens from Samsung. So it is pretty much a win-win situation for both the parties involved.
"Samsung wants to be first to market with a virtual reality headset, but it doesn't want to invest the time and money that Oculus and Sony are," writes Engadget's Ben Gilbert. "Oculus VR wants to create a high-quality virtual reality headset specifically for gaming, and it doesn't want to rush one out."
