WWDC 2014 Live Video Stream is Available Online

The WWDC 2014 conference is kicking off today in San Francisco with the highly anticipated WWDC keynote at 10am PDT. Apple will reveal the new features of iOS 8 and OS X 10.10. Apple is also expected to unveil some new hardware, but it is unclear what.

The WWDC 2014 keynote will be streamed live online starting 10am PDT. Watch the live video feed of the WWDC 2014 here

Live streaming video of the WWDC 2014 keynote requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

Several new features have already leaked that Apple is introducing in iOS 8 (Okemo) and OS X 10.10 (Syra). Highlights of leaked features include the Healthbook app. The iPad is also rumored to get full multi-tasking

Apple is also expected to unveil a home automation platform. For OS X 10.10 the updates will manly be around user interface design as Apple pushes to unify iOS 8 and OS X more completely. OS X 10.10 might be named Yosimite or El Cap according to latest rumors.

The rumors of the iWatch of course are red hot again as everybody hopes that Apple will finally reveal the iWatch today. I would not hold my breath though.

Apple is set to have an exciting fall and holiday season with the release of iOS 7 and OS Maverick in addition to a slew of new devices including the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina Display, Mac Pro, MacBook Air, iMac and MacBook Pro. There might also be something completely new that we do not know about. It is likely not the iWatch, which is expected for 2014.
