The trailer of the Mortal Kombat X, which is going to be released on the PS4, doesn’t look like much of an extraction from the gameplay itself and WB and NetherRealm are very adamant on not spilling any beans just as yet. But we are waiting for the E3 which is only a week away and hopefully we will dig out something from that.
According to the studio, MKX "launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy. For the first time, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style. Players step into an original story showcasing some of the game’s most prolific characters including Scorpion and Sub-Zero, while introducing new challengers that represent the forces of good and evil and tie the tale together."
The game has had its official announcement and will be released in 2015 and the new trailer is just as exciting as the game itself and it shows an incredibly atmospheric battle between the iconic Scorpion and Sub-Zero. We can put a finger on some of the new key features which have been introduced through the trailer such as the return of personal weapons as well as environmental interaction which is going to help you to rip branches off trees and beat your opponents with them.
