HTC has once again unveiled the One Vogue Edition (M8 Ace), however this time, the unveiling was for the audience worldwide and the name has also been made simpler; the HTC One (E8). This name is rather important to concentrate on because just due to missing two simple characters (E8) you will end up getting yourself a completely different version; special caution for those who will be ordering the phone online.
Instead of an aluminum body, like the one featured on the original HTC One M8, this one has been sported out of plastic. But don’t be disappointed because the phone has the same elegant dual curve which made the One M8 so attractive. The dimensions are more or less the same except that the phone is just a bit thicker. But you will be glad to know that it is lighter in weight than its metal sibling.
Moving on to the specs which have already been detailed numerous times in leaks before, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset however we are not so sure whether the chipset is the same as the One M8. It might be that same chipset with a 2.3GHz CPU or the one from the One Vogue Edition with a 2.5GHz CPU. In both cases the RAM would still be 2 GB and it will have 16GB of storage expandable with microSD cards of up to 128GB.
