Beastie Boys will Not Make New Music

The remaining members of the Beastie Boys revealed in court that there will be no new Beastie Boys music.

Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch (MCA) passed away in May of 2012. Now the remaining Beastie Boys revealed that they promised MCA to not make any new music under the Beastie Boys name.

Michael Diamond aka Mike D and Adam Horovitz aka Ad-Rock revealed this in court according to NME. There is yet another advertising controversy. The Monster Beverage company has released a video with a remix of 5 Beastie Boys songs. The Beastie Boys are against using their music in commercials, especially now that Yauch is gone.

The Beastie Boys also revealed in the same court session that Arnold Schwarzenegger would have liked to use their song Sabotage in his movie with the same name. The declined and said no to a ton of money.
