Amazon's 3D phone is finally coming.
Amazon will unveil a new device on June 18 in Seattle, the company announced on Twitter today. The retail giant also posted a teaser on YouTube that showed a bunch of people adoring an unseen device. This could be the long-rumored Amazon phone that made headlines in April.

The tweet says, "Join Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos for our launch event. Request an invite."
Clicking the link will lead you to a landing page where you can register for the event for free. Interestingly, when you register and indicate that you are a developer, a set of questions will appear.
One intriguing question is, "Are you interested in developing apps utilizing a new type of sensor?" The form also asks developers to describe an innovative way wherein they have used gyroscopes, accelerometers, or other device sensors in their app development.
We're pretty convinced that this is Amazon's 3D smartphone.
Previous reports say that Amazon's 3D phone will rely on zero-based touch controls and tilt gestures. The phone might even offer free access to the company's Prime services, which could offer exclusive access to TV shows and movies. Check out the video below.
