It has been a while now since the Xbox One has been out there and now the PC gamers are getting impatient with not having the controller’s compatibility with their machines. They have been asking Microsoft for too long about when they would be able to take advantage of such an opportunity considering that the Xbox 360 controller has been available for years and is so far the best one but the Xbox one controller is even better. So we understand why gamers are getting so impatient about it.
Microsoft seems to have taken care of the problem now. Up until now, the controllers couldn’t be used on Windows because the appropriate drivers for it weren’t in place. PC gamers can now download these required drivers which are available on the blog of Larry Hryb, more commonly known as Major Nelson who is the director of Programming for Xbox Live. The drivers which are available for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows will enable support for the new controller.
The Xbox One controller can be purchased for $59.99 and the drivers needed to make it compatible with your PC can be downloaded here.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
