35 year old truck driver Kevin Roper has posted a $50,000 bail after being charged with one count of death and four counts of assault
The truck driver who was charged with the crash which left actor Tracy Morgan critically injured turned himself in after he faced one charges of one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto. Sgt. Gregory Williams of New Jersey State Police that the 35 year old truck driver Kevin Roper has posted a $50,000 bail.

The crash brought on a chain reaction on early Saturday which killed 63 year old James McNair who was in the limo bus alongside Morgan. According to sister Valerie Daniel, McNair was a comedian and used to perform with the name of Jimmy Mack. Others injured in this accident included comedians Ardie Fuqua, Harris Stanton and Jeffrey Millea. One person has recovered enough and was sent home but his name isn’t being disclosed by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. However, according to hospital spokeswoman Zenaida Mendez Tracy Morgan and the two others injured are still said to be in critical condition.
CNN also managed to reach Fuqua's agent on Sunday but there has been no comment from his side. Roper who has been charged with one count of murder and four counts of assault was driving a tractor-trailer which crashed into limo bus. Walmart spokesperson has claimed that Roper is an employee there.
"This is a tragedy, and we are profoundly sorry that one of our trucks was involved," Bill Simon, presidentand CEO of Walmart U.S., said in a statement. "The facts are continuing to unfold. If it's determined that our truck caused the accident, Walmart will take full responsibility."
