Emily Maynard said that he was a person that had lent her so much peace of mind and that their fate was written in the stars. She was really proud of him and felt gratified that a wonderful husband like Tyler came into her life.
"God brought us together. He's given me such peace about everything. I'm so grateful I met him," the former Bachelorette star tells PEOPLE.
Over 200 guests were on the list of the people invited from both the bride and bridegroom’s extended families. However, the really surprising thing was that the guests had no idea that the couple planned to marry each other until the last moment.
Emily donned cowboy boots beneath her light pink trousseau. Her prepubescent daughter Ricki was with her. Maynard spoke of how this was a special occasion for Ricki as well. She looked up to Tyler as if he was her real father. The two had a great time together and Tyler was an ideal role model.
"It's just as much her day as it is mine because it's a big change for her," Emily says. "She just adores Tyler and he is so good with her. He loves her as if she was his own daughter. It's been so great to see their relationship grow."
As for the honeymoon that Tyler has planned for his wife and her little daughter, it would probably be time well spent on a beach. "Tyler planned it. He told me we're going to a beach. We could totally be going to Myrtle Beach for all I know!" she said.
The Bachelorette participant has spoken of how she felt highly ashamed of her life on the program. "For so long I felt so embarrassed and ashamed about that TV stuff," she said.
But now she has finally found her life partner and is glad that God showed her the right way which is one of morality and goodness. The program “The Bachelorette” showed the North Carolina mom in the role of a single who sought someone to be her significant other.
But such a state of affairs never satisfied Emily. She found it not conducive to peace of mind and also felt that the constant cravings and immorality it generated were a hassle that left one exhausted.
"The grace that my faith has given me to wipe that all away and not find worth in that and find it through God, Tyler has been a great example of that for me," she says. "He has truly lived out God's grace every day."
Finally, Emily Maynard has found beauty and honor in holy matrimony which is the method that 95% of humanity still follows as the final solution to the problem of being.
