$399 Xbox One launches ahead of Microsoft E3 2014 Press Event

Today at 9:30PDT, Microsoft will host the first E3 2014 press conference. Ahead of the event, the announced cheaper Xbox One is now on sale. You can buy the $399 Xbox One on Amazon.

The new cheaper Xbox One comes without Kinect and is a little faster. If that will do the trick to catch up with the Sony PS4 remains to be seen. The 2nd generation Kinect Sensor for the Xbox One will go on sale this fall.

Today Microsoft will reveal possibly more important things that will make the Xbox One the more attractive video game console.

The Microsoft E3 2014 Conference will launch at 9:30am PDT. You can watch the Microsoft E3 2014 conference live online.

Microsoft describes the Xbox One with:

Play games together with your friends on a network powered by over 300,000 servers for maximum performance. Find new challengers who fit your skill and style with Smart Match, which uses intelligent algorithms to bring the right players together. Turn your best game moments into personalized movies that you can share with friends, or broadcast your gameplay live. You can also switch quickly to apps, and connect with family and friends with Skype in HD (Kinect sensor required, sold separately this fall). Or do two things at once by snapping a game, live TV, a movie or apps side-by-side.

Get the new Xbox One now on Amazon.

Buying the Surface Pro 3? Here are the apps, games, programs and accessories you need

Source: BetaNews

As someone blessed with the opportunity to try the Surface Pro 3 early, I can say it is truly a game changer. It is very light, has great battery life and a big beautiful display. About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
