While they are no longer husband and wife, Miranda affirms the fact that she is still on good terms with her former spouse. And as for her current condition, she survives due to the religious practices she engages in.
That is her secret for peace of mind and sanity in an unstable world. Miranda Kerr appears on the cover of Net-A-Porter's The Edit. She told the fashion mag about her feelings after split.
She spoke of how since we are our choices we can choose to think positive thoughts and work hard in order to eliminate the negative thoughts that haunt our lives.
At least this was what she claimed was the secret of her happiness and mental freedom. She admits that bad times come and go, but we have to weather them or make an effort to drive them away via positivity and pro-activity.
"Every thought you think is powerful and we have a conscious choice every day to change our thoughts and therefore change our reality and therefore create a happier existence," the former Victoria's Secret Angel told the fashion mag.
Miranda uses her powers to concentrate on the present. She prefers to stay in the very “now” of the moment. And so it is all a matter of attitude for her. She also practices gratitude on a daily basis.
"We all have bad days and negative emotions. But I've realised it's important to sit with it and let it pass, and if it doesn't pass, choose a thought that will help it pass. Focus on what it is that you're grateful for. Having perspective is key," said Miranda Kerr.
Thankfulness for everything from the clothes you wear to the food you eat is of paramount importance. And her three year old son, Flynn is the focal center of her existence.
She absolutely loves him and cannot do without him. He makes her keep a level head on her shoulders and allows her maternal feelings to overflow. Miranda says this much that it is not all peaches and cream.
"From my first photoshoot at 14, I never saw myself as a model. If someone asks me what I do, I say, 'I have my own skincare line.' I don’t define myself as a model," she told The Edit.
"I like being able to find different aspects of myself and expressing them through a picture. It's fun. I might as well do it while I can. It's not going to last forever."
There were times when she had differences over certain matters with her husband. And that was the reason for the divorce. But the two are cooperating for the sake of their son. And recently the stunningly beautiful model started studying nutrition.
She will be applying those healthy food principles to her life and becoming even fitter. After all, Miranda has her whole life ahead of her.
