SwiftKey keyboard app, the best selling Android paid app, is now available free for all.

SwiftKey is a ‘Mind-reading’ keyboard app, previously available for $3.99, and now it has gone free worldwide. SwiftKey is the Android’s best-selling paid app. But now it is available at no cost whatsoever for all users.

This app was launched in 2010 and it has remained the top selling Android app on Google Play for a longer time period than any other paid app. In fact, it is one of the world’s best-selling Android applications.

SwiftKey app not only goes free but it is also updated. The new update adds user-driven enhancements and dozens of new free and premium keyboard themes. The removal of price barriers will make this stunning keyboard technology available for all the users worldwide with more customization choices for their on-screen typing experience.

SwiftKey Keyboard actually "replaces a mobile device’s keyboard with one that understands language and learns your personal writing style." Now mobile users can type with more accuracy using autocorrect, next word prediction and such other typing options like SwiftKey Flow and more.

SwiftKey app offers contextual predictions and autocorrection in 66 languages, including English, Hindi and Hinglish. Now with the removal of the price barrier, all Google Play users can access this award-winning Keyboard app at no cost whatsoever. It means that they can enjoy all the best features of this app absolutely free.

And the SwiftKey makers are also giving rewards to all of their loyal users who have previously paid for the app. All the previous SwiftKey users can now download a $4.99 “Premier Pack” of 10 themes free of charge. And their apps will have the same core functionality.

The previous one month trial of the paid app, formerly called SwiftKey Keyboard Free, has been superseded by today’s free app arrival that will not expire.

SwiftKey co-founder and CEO Jon Reynolds said: “This is the start of an incredibly exciting phase for us as a business. We have made the decision to go free to better enable everyone, everywhere, to use SwiftKey’s market-leading technology without payment being a barrier. We're focused not only on reaching more users with our powerful technology, but on building great content and features to engage them.”

This updated version of SwiftKey Keyboard includes:

  • SwiftKey Store stocked with over 30 new themes
  • New default theme, ‘Nickel’

  • Number row
  • Improved prediction engine
