The future is now. The Vision Gran Turismo project is a pet idea started by Nissan and it just might pay off big time. A series of dream sports cars are in the pipeline and all of them will go towards making appearances in Sony’s Gran Turismo 6.
But when you consider this from the perspective of a simple video game, it all appears to be a vicarious pleasure that has nothing to do with holding a steering wheel in your hands in the driver’s seat. But fear not, such is hardly the case.
From now on, Nissan will be bringing a solid dose of reality to the whole scheme. The selfsame car that appeared in the game will become the prototype design for a real car in the real world. Now, isn’t that absolutely wild!
Nissan has a virtual treasure trove of cars at its disposal. It is a real player and corporate powerhouse on the scene in terms of vehicles. It will be employing its Vision Gran Turismo car in a model which will make its entry soon.
Just like Toyota and Mercedes, Nissan too has a few surprises in store for the world. Its conversion of fantasy to reality is wondrous in its very bold and practical building of something in the actual Zeitgeist that we inhabit as human beings.
This is no wishy-washy concept that reeks of fairy tales and genies. It is rock solid and very tangible indeed. The jagged male edges of the car along with the fitted driving space makes it very much in demand.
But it will take some time to create the nuts and bolts of this baby. The GT-R is a revolutionary concept in sports cars and it sure looks like hell on wheels.
A real-time, high-octane critter that’ll tear apart the tracks once it is let loose, this car was made for racing to the finish line. A legend among legends, the GT-R will blow away the competition like cobwebs and make space for itself whether on or off the racing track.
