People all over the world have different passions and it is not an uncommon site to see people collecting their favorite things. Only a few days back we covered a story of the Guinness world record holder of the largest video game collection. Over the period of decades, the man had collected every gaming title along with all the generations of the gaming consoles. Michael Thomasson was eventually forced to sell off this collection of video games which have been given away to a bidder for a whopping $750,250.
The bidder has remained anonymous and although he is now short of almost a three quarter of a million, he has the ownership of the largest video game collection. He is going to have private ownership of the biggest video game library which also includes hardware such as NUON and the Tapwave Zodiac.
This story has also inspired a couple of gamign fanatics to start up their own library. Many original gaming titles in Thomasson’s collection had belonged to the early 90s and worth more than the current gaming titles of today. Though you are not the lucky bidder today, you can be one day.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
