Apart from a metal body and Duo camera setup, the E8 offers everything high end for merely $449

Much to our surprise, the HTC E8 has been doing pretty well in the market as suggested by its sales figure. The E8 was introduced only two weeks back and despite of having its availability limited to China only, the phone has been doing fairly good and is popular among the public. We might say that the popularity of the HTC One M8 had taken its toll and people were beginning to trust the franchise because seems to be no other reason that would explain the sale of 50,000 units in just 15 minutes of being released.

When it comes to the Chinese smartphone market, the company usually breaking the sales records and having sales figures such as these is Xiaomi. But it seems like HTC is also getting a hold of things in China and is ready for some action. It is not difficult to understand why people loved the new One E8, considering you are getting a lot for your money. Though there is no metal structure of the One M8 or a UltraPixel-packed Duo Camera, the rest is the same. All features of the phone are straight-up high-end, at least as much as the Samsung Galaxy S5.

The HTC One E8 is the cheaper One M8 version with a plastic body which seems to have agreed well with the design. It provides the perfect competition for Samsung’s current flagship and being cheaper is the most important edge which is going to take it a long way. The One (E8) starts at 2,799 yuan, which means around $449.
