The star has met director JJ Abrams to discuss a cameo role in 'Star Wars: Episode VII'
What exactly is it that we are hearing about Tom Cruise making it to the Star Wars movie? According to reports, the famous Mission Impossible star has recently met with director JJ Abrams in order to discuss a cameo role in 'Star Wars: Episode VII', which is currently being filmed in the UK. According to what was told to ‘The Sun’, “Tom has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ and some other people from Star Wars at the weekend. On Saturday evening five of them met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel. JJ produced M:I5 and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance."
Soon after Harrison Ford's accident took place on the set, the producers of the film decided that they still had enough time to create a role for Tom cruise since the shooting had been halted anyway. The source which brings us this news claims that “Losing Harrison is going to set things back a little scheduling wise and there’s some time to play around with.”
The reports last week stated that Ford wasn’t acting up according to the advice of the doctors because he has been planning to return to the set of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ even though he has been strictly advised to rest.
