Recife is hit by heavy rains. Flooding could delay or even cancel today's highly anticipated game between USA and Germany. The big game between Germany and USA is set to take place in Recife. Latest reports show that the city is hit by strong rains and streets are flooded.

Twitter posts show streets in Recife full with water. See some of them below. The FIFA will decide if the game will be delayed. I hope though the game can still take place today.

The game between USA and Germany is scheduled to take place at noon Eastern / 9am PST. You can watch on ESPN. Read more World Cup 2014 news in our Sport News Section.
