has a substantial lineup of games coming throughout the rest of the year, from blockbusters like Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection to potential indie hits Ori and the Blind Forest and Project Spark. The team has taken to the Xbox Wire to discuss the huge lineup. Beyond the nine exclusives (a few of which aren’t quite full releases), Microsoft
has a strong third-party lineup as well, including the requisite yearly installments of Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty and the EA Sports games. There are a surprising amount of new IPs as well on the list: Bungie’s massively multiplayer shooter Destiny, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Evolve and The Evil Within are all poised to light up both the Xbox One and PS4 sales charts this holiday season. As someone blessed with the opportunity to try the Surface Pro 3 early, I can say it is truly a game changer. It is very light, has great battery life and a big beautiful display. The tablet/laptop hybrid is far beyond offerings by competitors, including Apple. If you even consider buying a Macbook Air over this, you are arguably making a huge mistake.

Microsoft's head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, says that the company's new Kinect-less Xbox One will ultimately lead to more sales and a greater number of Kinects in gamers' homes.
