The phone will arrive in mid July and is available for pre order
After having its own share of rumors, Lava, the India-based smartphone maker, has officially announced the new Windows Phone 8.1 device. This upcoming Xolo WIN Q900s weighs just about 100 grams and it is scheduled to release in the second week of July. But the pre orders have already begun.
If we talk about the major selling point here, then it is the light weight of the phone which is a much valued feature nowadays as it adds up to the portability of the device. And so far this is the lightest Windows Phone product to be released. But don’t be confused with the light weight. The phone has all powerful features and sports a 4.7 inch display with a 1280x720 resolution. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable by support for micro SD. The camera setup is also pretty impressive with an 8 MP main camera and a 2 MP front facing shooter. You can also have two SIM cards on this phone.
The phone falls under the affordable range and you can pre order the device at Snapdeal.com where it is listed for Rs. 9999 (about $166).
