Back in April this year, the Samsung Galaxy S5 met us all with a bang and we received it in its full glory in the midst of all that hype. And soon afterwards we had everyone commenting on how amazing the camera is and the wonderful features on the phone and the sales began to soar higher than ever. However, some people might find it hard to believe that the numbers from UK show that Apple’s entry level iPhone 5c was able to beat the S5 in sales in the month of May.
We would have understood had the comparison been in the month of April when the phone came out in the mid but this is May which was S5’s first full month in the market. We are pretty sure that Samsung must have been very disappointed in this new revelation because the iPhone 5c is known by many as a ‘flop’ phone and how can Samsung even imagine comparing its glorious and luxurious S5 with the entry level iPhone 5c.
There is no doubt about the fact that the S5 managed to get record breaking sales in its first month of release in April but the hype which had lasted for too long before the phone arrived die too soon after it appeared in the market.

About the Geek Mind
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
