Grand Theft Auto Being Sued by Lindsay Lohan for Using Her Likeness
Now that's a birthday suit! Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit against the makers of Grand Theft Auto on her birthday, Wednesday, July 2, claiming that they have used her likeness for one of the mega-popular video game's characters.
Lohan, 28, filed her suit in Manhattan court against the game's maker Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and its subsidiary Rockstar Games, according to the Associated Press. In the documents, Lohan claims a character named Lacey Jonas was an "unequivocal" replica of herself.
The Mean Girls star's alleged video game persona is featured on the cover of Grand Theft Auto V, wearing a skimpy red bikini and flashing a peace sign while taking a selfie—a shot nearly identical to one previously posted by Lohan. The video game also features the famed West Hollywood-based Chateau Marmont hotel, where Lohan lived in the summer of 2012 and reportedly ran up a $46,000 bill.
In one scene of the game, Lacey Jonas runs out of a building into an alleyway, where she asks a man to help her escape the paparazzi. The ditzy character pleads with the driver, "Can you give me a ride past them, please?!" while adding, "This is a disaster. I'm so f---ing fat. How's my hair? Do I look cute?"
Lohan's suit alleges that "The portraits of the Plaintiff (Lohan) incorporated her image, likeness, clothing, outfits, Plaintiff's clothing line products, ensemble in the form of hats, hair style, sunglasses, jean shorts worn by the Plaintiff that were for sale to the public at least two years reports Us Weekly."

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
