Jennifer Lopez aka Jenny from the Block once played a role depicting the by-now-deceased singer Selena. Now, however, she wants Selena Gomez, another namesake who is much younger than her, to illustrate her life and career in cinematographic form.
While speaking at Sirius XM Radio recently, Jennifer Lopez was questioned as to whom she would like show her life story to the rest of the world. Lopez was tongue-tied and couldn’t come up with a decent answer to the question.
When she asked for suggestions from the audience someone said Selena Gomez. That was when Jennifer Lopez responded by saying that she was a cutie and that yes maybe she would be the one who would be best able to portray her story in filmic form.
And this is not the first time that the two have been compared to each other. Even the way they wear their respective ensembles shows great similarity.
Many people feel that Selena will be the next J. Lo. Gomez's album Stars Dance producer, Jason Evigan, previously said, "I kind of feel she's going to be like a new J.Lo kind of thing."
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez was asked as to who her love interest was. She has said that sometimes you need some time alone with yourself in order to sort of recharge. Without the necessary breaks you hardly knew who you were. So she is currently taking a breather after her recent split with Casper Smart.
"I'm good right now," Jennifer Lopez said. "Let's just say we just got out of a relationship and there needs to be time for reflection and alone time so for sure that's where I'm at right now."
As for something which really made her mad? Jennifer answered that she just couldn’t stand fake people. In fact, she spoke of how she couldn’t bear anything that was false and reeked of falsehood.
There was just this big gulf between those who spoke the truth no matter how bitter and those who told little while lies. And she couldn’t afford people who were sycophants or artificial in their manners in her life.
"I don't like pretention at all," she said. "I don't like anything that false. Like most people, you want somebody who's just real, but also, I like to laugh. I like someone who's funny, who can make me laugh. I don't know. There are a lot of things. They've got to be good."
This is a big thing to come out of the mouth of one our top celebrities. Most of the celebs just want to follow their false values that the media instills in them for the rest of their lives. But Jennifer Lopez has shown the world what stuff she is made of by showing falsehood the mirror.E! News
