The awaited iPad Air upgrade could be coming soon
iPads have been major sellers for Apple, but many people have still been wondering when they will see an upgrade to the Air line. According to Apple Balla report, a new model will be released later this year and feature a major graphics boost that will help them keep up with more high powered tablets on the market.
The analysts are saying that this will be a game changing year for Apple, with the release of the iPhone 6 as well as the iWatch, but the iPad Air is also going to be getting a boost in graphics power thanks to the Metal API technology. This new processing technology is going to make it easier for iPads to run games of a higher quality than ever before. With companies like Microsoft and Amazon trying to make a video game centered console, it would only make sense that Apple wants to do the same.
There is also the ultra-high definition feature that is expected to be included, with 4K video. 4K video is an exciting new technology and many people can’t afford the televisions that are capable of supporting it, so an iPad with it could have a great place in the market.
There has still been little word from Apple, but as reports continue to come in we might be closer. They are supposedly starting production this month, so an official announcement could be coming soon.
