If we remember, then a couple of days back we got some leaked pictures which showed the upcoming mid-range Nokia smartphone which we now suspect is probably going to be the successor to the Lumia 820 which was released in 2012. Though nothing has been confirmed on the name as yet, we are just assuming that it would most likely be called the Lumia 830. Another leaked has recently appeared on this phone which shows the brand new render and comes from the Chinese search engine Baidu. We are the most excited about the phone featuring a new branding that says “Nokia by Microsoft”.
Last week we got news that Microsoft has decided what the branding is going to be for the already existing line of Nokia smartphones. And this recent leak for the Lumia 820 predecessor confirms the news. We are suspecting that this is how we are going to start witnessing the consequences of the takeover. We can also not help but think whether the Nokia brand would die out ultimately and this is just way to gradually take it out of the picture. It is quite possible that we start seeing only Microsoft’s name on the smartphones which come in the later years.
