The Episode VII of the Star Wars franchise is in the air and it includes two new members. Harrison Ford of course suffered an injury and hence was not able to make it for shooting in time.
The 7th episode of Star Wars is about to undergo a radical shift in its characters. Two novel people are going to enter the arena. This was announces recently by the directors of the series. It comes as somewhat of a shock and a surprise.
Harrison Ford’s injury which he incurred during shooting will cause two weeks of the precious time of the film’s production to be suspended. But this is only a temporary stopgap till Ford becomes a capable man again.
Ford broke his leg during the shooting. A door had fallen on it and so he had to be hospitalized for a while. Lupita N’yongo and Carrie Fisher are already on set.
The two new faces joining the cast will be none other than Crystal Clarke and Pip Anderson. These are the very fortunate duo that has made it on to the set from among tens of thousands of eager and desperate people.
While Clarke is a British actress, Pip Andersen is a parkour expert who has appeared in a Spider Man advertisement. Star Wars is a franchise that has always encouraged youth and the young to rise and step forward and lead the way when it comes to acting and showing the world what they’ve got in terms of talent and skills.
“The Star Wars universe has always been about discovering and nurturing young talent and in casting Episode VII we wanted to remain absolutely faithful to this tradition. We are delighted that so many travelled to see us at the open casting calls and that we have been able to make Crystal and Pip a part of the film,” said producer and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
Meanwhile, someone played a prank by depicting Star Wars photographs in an unfamiliar context on YouTube. He showed the Star Wars forces taking over a German airport. See the fake video clip of Star Wars: Episode VII below.
It was all just for kicks. But some gullible people got unsettled by the photos rather in the same manner as the twice repeated War of the Worlds radio/television commentary that frightened so many into believing that aliens had arrived on planet earth.
This episode of Star Wars will pack quite a punch with the additional players acting on the set. And it will also have a few surprises up its sleeves for those used to the usual boring fare of sex and violence shown by the cinemas around the world.
