Menzel will also conduct a special on-field performance at the pre-game ceremony that will be held to honor the 30 winners in the "Target presents PEOPLE All-Star Teachers" program.
This program will "celebrate the remarkable current and retired teachers who make an impact on the lives of their students and communities," says MLB. Winners of this program will be recognized on-field with the 2014 MLB All-Star players and managers.
The Minnesota Orchestra Brass Quintet will sing the Canadian Anthem while Joe Nichols will sing God Bless America as a part of the All-Star Game.
This pre-game ceremony featuring Tony Award winning singer Idina Menzel will be aired on July 15th on FOX. FOX will start covering the All-Star Game at 7:30 p.m. ET. Menzel will also perform the 11-time Grammy-Award winner Bob Dylan's classic song "Forever Young," before singing the National Anthem.
Meanwhile singer and songwriter, Aloe Blacc will also sing at the Budweiser's MLB All-Star Musical Performance on-field prior to the Gillette Home Run Derby which will be aired on July 14th on ESPN.
Aloe Blacc will start his Monday's special on-field performance by singing "Wake Me Up" that will air on MLB Network at approximately 7:50 p.m. ET, followed by "Can You Do This," which will air on ESPN prior to the start of the Gillette Home Run Derby. Blacc will also perform at the MLB All-Star Gala.
Idina Menzel is an iconic artist who has worked on stage, TV, films and music. Her latest song "Let It Go" for Disney's Oscar-winning film Frozen is a big hit. And it won an Oscar too. And she also voiced the character of Elsa in the film.
Menzel is the first person that won both the Billboard Top 10 hit for her music and a Tony Award for her acting as Elphaba in Wicked. Her TV credits a role on Glee, Disney's Enchanted and her own PBS special, Barefoot at the Symphony.
Her music career includes the solo albums I Stand, Here and Still I Can't Be Still. She can be seen currently in Broadway's If/Then as Elizabeth.
