Peyton Manning Leads NFL The Top 100 Players of 2014

Peyton Manning had a huge run in 2013. He scored 55 touchdowns, 5,477 passing years and got his 5th MVP award. He also was the 3rd time at the Super Bowl in his career in 2013. The Super Bowl game was a disaster for the Denver Broncos, but it did not destroy the legend that is Peyton Manning.

Peyton Manning finished ahead of Calvin Johnson, Tom Brady and Adrian Peterson. Adrian Peterson was the #1 in the NFL Top 100 last year. For some reason Manning was not the #1 of the NFL Top 100 yet. The ranking is though also not that old. NFL Network launched it in 2011.

Watch a NFL interview with Peyton Manning on his win of the NFL Top 100 here.

The new 2014 NFL season will start on September 4 and end December 28. The NFL Playoffs will kick off on January 3, 2015. The Super Bowl XLIX will take place on February 1, 2015.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
