She is here! Meilani Alexandra Mathews 7lbs 13 ounces. Words can't describe what looking into your child's eyes can do to you. Im Humbled.— Roger Mathews (@RogerMathewsNJ) July 13, 2014
MTV News reports that the little girl arrived at 12:49 p.m. Jordana Ossad says information of the birth came out around the beginning of the year in "Jenni ‘JWOWW’ Farley And Roger Mathews Welcome Baby Girl."
Weighing at 7 lbs and 13 oz, Meilani made her debut outside of reality TV. However, the announcement of her impending birth was made during the filming of We TV's Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. At the time, Farley and Mathews made the decision to not tell family until after the first trimester but news leaked while on air.
After a blow up, which was featured on Friday's episode, the baby (and filming) timeline is easier to follow. A lot easier than the pregnancy, which she called the "worst thing ever." But having a loving, devoted partner and close friends definitely helped.
Of course BFF and aunt Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi posted on Twitter, too. It's easy to hear the Jersey Shore cast mate's joy at the latest member of the family. Nicole's due to have her second child in the fall. So how long before the latest play dates for the crew, counting Snooki's 2-year-old son Lorenzo?

A rep for the family says, "Meilani and her parents are doing great and are happy and healthy. Meilani is already looking to trade her baby bottle for barbells.”
Jennifer says Nicole has "always been by my side" and being pregnant at the same time "made me feel a thousand times better." Definitely an important moment when the miseries of carrying a child--even if the pain is worth it in the end.
Roger's more laid-back approach will balance JWoww's more outgoing personality for the first time parents. That's a good thing. The two are obviously in love with each other. They've shown how much on Boot Camp when Roger admitted to doing the show because he understands her need for reality and attention. Meanwhile Jenni took the responsibility of the baby news leak and understood his anger at the news breaking before even family knew.
Their daughter is in good hands since they love her just much. Look at Roger's words: "Words can't describe what looking into your child's eyes can do to you." JWoww didn't tweet directly, but she retweeted him.
Regardless, Meilani will be loved by family, including former Jersey Shore co-stars. And most of America, too.
