Khloe Kardashian reveals in the July 13 episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" that she lied about being with her estranged husband Lamar Odom on her birthday last year. She confesses that Odom was with another woman.
Lamar Odom cheated on Khloe Kardashian.
This was Kardashian's revelation in the July 13 episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" when she says Odom, her estranged husband, was with another woman on her birthday last year, per Reality TV Magazine's Lisa Princ:
"Ever since Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom split late last year, Kardashian remained pretty silent about all of the cheating rumors surrounding the former NBA star. But now, Khloe Kardashian is ready to talk, and on tonight's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe finally opens up about the cheating and Lamar Odom!
"Twitter fans have been waiting for Khloe Kardashian to open up about her failed marriage to Lamar Odom, and it's finally happening. In fact, in a promo for tonight's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe is seen clearing out her home, and chatting with her sister Kourtney about Lamar Odom, finally admitting that he did cheat on her.
"In the preview clip, Khloe explains that she knew about the affair for some time but didn't say anything, as she says: 'Let me tell you something. Last year on my birthday I lied to everyone because I had to lie and say I was with my husband was missing with another girl!'
"And we already know that Lamar is refusing to give up on Khloe, but she also confirms this, stating: 'He doesn't think we are going through with the divorce,' adding that Odom is still wearing his wedding ring!
"As for Khloe, she has clearly moved on with French Montana, and is waiting for Odom to sign off on the divorce papers."
HollywoodLife.com's Chloe Melas showed her all-out support for Kardashian in her July 14 blog:
"But when you are drinking, throwing parties and lashing out at your family, it's really troublesome. I'm sure this is the last thing you want to hear but I'm really being supportive and can't begin to imagine what you've been through. But I can tell you that your family and fans truly love you and want to make sure that you're not acting out of spite as you move forward in this next phase of your life.
"Even though you've found love again in the arms of French Montana, who we love at HollywoodLife.com, I just hope you're not moving too fast.
"It hasn't been that long since you and Lamar broke up and you have yet to officially get a divorce. Although it's just a legality, I think it's important to address your issues with Lamar head on.
"What do I mean? No matter how much it makes you sad or make you cringe, I think it's really important confront him face-to-face, no matter how hard it is. I think you need to let him know just how much he hurt you, and get his divorce finalized.
"It had to be incredibly difficult living a double life for so long. We are all just really finding out about the lengths you went in order to protect Lamar and your marriage. It was shocking to learn that the reports of Lamar's infidelity are indeed true and it's heartbreaking.
"We are so sad that he didn't value your love and marriage vows. But it's a year of new beginnings for you and we couldnt' be more excited. We just hope that you address everything you need to before you start writing your next chapter. Moral of the story: close this part of your life then jump off the cliff and build your wings on the way down."
According to ESPN New York's Ian Begley, Odom was waived by the New York Knicks on July 11:
"New York Knicks president Phil Jackson has decided to waive veteran Lamar Odom, citing a lack of professionalism.
"'Unfortunately, Lamar was unable to uphold the standards to return as an NBA player,' Jackson said in a statement. 'We found it necessary to free up the roster spot.'
"The Knicks also re-signed center Cole Aldrich on Friday night.
"Odom's release is the latest setback in the 6-foot-10 forward's career. The Knicks signed Odom on April 16 -- the final day of the regular season -- to a two-year contract, with the second year non-guaranteed.
"This gave the Knicks the opportunity to monitor Odom over the summer and decide whether he deserved a roster spot. Clearly, Jackson, who coached Odom for five seasons in Los Angeles, wasn't satisfied with Odom's approach during the trial period.
"Odom's last stint in the NBA was in 2012-13 with the Los Angeles Clippers.
"The Clippers and (Los Angeles) Lakers had expressed interest in signing Odom at various points of the 2013-14 season after a tumultuous summer off the floor that included his eventual divorce from reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
"During the 2013 offseason, Odom was arrested on a DUI charge and reportedly dealt with substance-abuse issues."
