HTC’s mid-range smartphone, the Desire 610, became officicla this year when it was announced at the MWC event and it will soon be available from AT&T. On AT&T’s page as well as HTC’s, we can see the device listed as ‘coming soon’. The smartphone is going to be available for sale starting from July 25th and you can get it for $199.99 without any contract from AT&T. Those of you who had been taking this phone for granted should consider purchasing it because it is almost free if you consider the fact that it is available for around €300 in Europe.

Moving on to the specifications of the phone (in case you yourself haven’t gotten around to that), the phone sports a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1GB of RAM and the camera setup is also pretty impressive for a mid range phone at 8 megapixel for the rear camera and 1.3 megapixel for the front facing shooter. The phone already comes with 8 GB of internal memory and for those who think they would be needing more, they can always go for the microSD card. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs a 2,040mAh battery. Keep visiting the AT&T website for more details on the phone and its availability.
