Emma Stone Lies to Friends

Emma Stone and Colin Firth are currently busy promoting their upcoming movie "Magic in the Moonlight" that is all set to hit theaters on July 25th.

"Magic in the Moonlight" is a movie with many themes. and one of the movie themes is to tell a big white lie for a greater and better cause. And this is not difficult for 25-year-old Emma at all.

She is used to telling lies to her friends about their bad performances. And her "Magic in the Moonlight" co-star Colin Firth also tells such lies.

53-year-old Colin Firth and Emma Stone admitted this fact during a recent interview with ABC News that they do not mind telling lies in order to avoid hurting other people’s feelings.

"Have you ever gone backstage after a friend of yours' performance that's really bad?" Firth asked Stone to which she answered "Yeah," after taking a deep breath and a moment of silence.

Emma Stone, also a star of the "Amazing Spider-Man," admitted that she told many of her co-stars that they did a "great job" even after a bad performance.

"Yeah I have, that's a good point," she told Firth. "Or like, 'OMG, you looked beautiful,' that's my favorite compliment... 'You looked great!'"

Oscar winner Firth then said to Emma that "You must be exhausted." But she laughed and joked to Firth by saying "Aren't you tired? ... There's so many!"

Woody Allen's latest film "Magic in the Moonlight" stars Firth who also predicted the future of Emma by saying, "I think it's going to fall apart quite quickly for Emma. But, I'm no expert, I could be wrong."

Meanwhile Emma Stone also appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman this week. She was looking like a doll in a crimson dress when she Amade an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. She almost seemed to be taking on the persona of Little Orphan Annie in front of the grandfatherly figure.

She also had neutral snakeskin stilettos on her feet and wore a creaky leather jacket on top of her red dress. Besides her bob cut which had extensions, a red pair of shades sat atop the bridge of her nose.

Emma said on the show that there was many an occasion when her late grandfather visited her. "There's a long family history with quarters. My grandfather leaves quarters. And it's just amazing. It's him! It's absolutely him," she told Letterman.

"It's such a long story that you'd have to go to commercial five times and roll to a clip and then come back and I'd still be telling the story. But it's him, you guys, it's him!"

Emma went on to list the bizarre facts such as quarters left behind by her deceased grandpa. And when Emma came out of the premises of the David Letterman Show she signed autographs for her many fans.

Meanwhile, she has a movie coming out soon. And guess who could be her costar in it? Why, it is none other than Colin Firth. The man who once played Darcy in the Jane Austen classic movie is to play a crucial role alongside Emma Stone.

Emma said that it almost felt like she and Colin had been doing their act since eons and eons. Emma is a very lively “It” item with an almost infectious smile.

She is full of pep and chutzpah and lights up whatever place it is she visits. She has also made many movies for Woody Allen so much so that she is said to be his main muse.

Emma appeared in Crazy Stupid Love too. She is an accomplished A-list actress of thee highest caliber. And to think that she has accomplished all this at such a young age…absolutely unbelievable!

She deserves a pat on the back for expressing herself instead of repressing herself with Letterman. This is one girl who has the look and who can give it a jam anytime.

She has that undefined yet quite clear quality of being a normal happy go lucky starlet that shines out among the rest in a screwed up world.
