Behati Prinsloo, the Victoria’s Secret angel has tied the knot with Adam Levine. The two said their marriage vows in a tent in a very romantic manner in Los Cabos, Mexico.
Now they are officially man and wife. Among the hundreds of people attending the wedding may be included: Jonah Hill, Jason Segel and Candice Swanepoel.
The blushing bride wore a Marchesa gown. Instead of gifts the guests brought along charity donations which was a refreshing change from the materialistic culture the West has become so used to.
The bridal party was an occasion to remember alright. And while Prinsloo’s fellow female models acted as her bridesmaids, Adam’s Maroon 5 band mates were there and one of them even performed for the wedding celebrations.
He is the guitarist James Valentine who has already revealed about her performance in a recent interview. "It's just another gig for me. I'm gonna be playing some solo acoustic guitar during the ceremony when people are walking [in]," he said before the wedding.
35-year-old Levine stood on the entrance and twanged his guitar while the guests came in one by one. Adam’s best man was his keyboardist Jesse Carmichael. It was a slight tragedy of sorts that Adam’s best friend Blake Shelton, who is also his fellow Voice judge, couldn’t make it on time.
He was busy working on a project in Chicago. Stevie Nicks did however make an entrance and so all was not lost. Adam and his newly wed wife gave a dinner party soon after the hubbub was over.
The specialties on the menu were all delicacies taken from Mexican cuisine. Before Adam kissed the bride, he posted a small message on his Facebook that just said “Let’s do this!” which showed his level of excitement at the most important day in his life.
The two had begun dating each other two years ago. And after a brief hiatus in their passionate love affair, one of them finally made a marriage proposal and the other one had the grace to accept it.
"Famous last words, 'I'll never get married,'" Adam Levine joked in a TV appearance last year. "I still don't necessarily think you have to get married unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them. And then you marry them and it's wonderful."
Prinsloo’s provenance is Namibia. She is a very charming and vivacious lady with a wonderful smile. Adam revealed his feelings in an interview that took place not too long ago that when he met the person he was supposed to marry it would be a wonderful thing! Today he is happily married and ready to enjoy his honeymoon in South Africa.
