The blonde beauty from Friends, Lisa Kudrow recently talked about lots of stuff in an interview including her role of Valerie Cherish for TLC's Who Do You Think You Are?. She avers the fact that truth is stranger than fiction.
Lisa Kudrow is the executive producer of the show “Who Do You Think You Are?” and she got in touch with the media awhile back to state some very basic facts about the program. It airs on TLC and is all about the genealogy of celebs.

"In some ways it's harder because archives are closing down due to lack of funding," said Kudrow. "And we're always limited by time. But this season we uncover documents that are record-breaking for the genealogy community. Our team is thrilled!"
The folks on set helped Cynthia Nixon go to the roots of her family tree and find out that her great-great-great grandmother killed her husband with an axe.
Maybe this shows that reality holds more surprises in store than fantasy or any means of escape from it. Ultimately, everyone had some dark secret in the past history of his or her family.
"Real life is much more riveting and powerful. We were bug-eyed by that story! And you know what's even crazier? Our other stars this season are Valerie Bertinelli, Rachel McAdams, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Kelsey Grammer, and they all had a murderer in the family, except Kelsey. What are the chances?" Lisa Kudrow told TV Guide Magazine in an interview.
A homicidal maniac or prostitute turned up in every family no matter where you looked. It was the proverbial skeleton in the closet.
And Lisa Kudrow acknowledges that not everyone is comfortable doing all this family history soul searching. What are dredged up from the past can be some pretty horrid things that the celeb’s appetite doesn’t agree with.
Ultimately, permission from the family has to be sought sometimes and many times the elders say “no”. Lisa said that as a nation Americans had seen so much chaos and tragedy and basically each Yankee was a survivor in a world gone wrong.
"This is a nation of survivors, people who have dealt with unbelievable tragedy and famine and danger and hardship," said Lisa. "Then there's all the stuff that irritates us today and makes us freak out and fall apart. No comparison."
She also spoke of how the resources they commonly had on the TV program were sometimes meager yet they managed to make do with what little stuff that they had.
But this time around there would be a few surprises due to documents that had been unearthed. Meanwhile, Lisa Kudrow may return to The Comeback as Valerie Cherish, the redhead with a temper.
The thrill of rejoining the series after nearly a decade is so great that Lisa cannot even begin to describe it. She admits this much though that her father was pretty uneasy watching her in that role although most of the youth of the nation were okay with it.
New season premier of Lisa Kudrow's Who Do You Think You Are? aired last night. It will air every Wedenesday at 9/8c on TLC.
